Anyone on here have a car painted black tulip?

Dahubby is already picking out colors for the car project he doesn't have yet!!

Ahh, thank you! At first he was all BRG, but then realized so many cars are BRG or red. And red's not an option with Emma in the house! Then he was leaning toward white, with camel top, carpet and seats. I think he needs to get the car first, worry about color later!!!

I have an aconite car. A bit lighter than black tulip.

Just click on the attachment link above my note and you will see it.

Hehe, didn't even see the attachment. Thanks!

Ooh, that's NICE too. Great car!

Both great-looking cars. Dahubby will be hardpressed to pick a color! And I'm keeping my mouth shut. Hard to believe, right? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ours is now Old English white, reverted back to original from "Amana" white from a shoddy bop job 20 years ago. Quite nice, actually.

Since dahubby hasn't a car yet, I'll take/post some pix when mine is "on its' feet" again.

My '70 started out Canary Yellow, but was evolved into a burgundy... I don't know the shop name of the color, but it's the same paint Jaguar uses. The guy I bought the car from was from Minnesota, so I think he was shooting for Golden Gopher burgundy, but I live in Northern California, so people think I like it because it's a Stanford Cardinalesque burgundy.

Little do they know that I'm from Washington D.C., and know beyond any doubt that it is actually a Redskins burgundy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm trying to post some pics of it, but I've never used shutterfly before. See if this link does the trick... https://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AaMXDduzcuXFA

I have 73B that is painted Black Tulip. That was the only year that this colour was available. I have more pics if you want to see more.

I tried to send pictures on this forum but no luck. I took the liberty of sending them to your email address. I hope they come through.

I've drooled over Mickey's car since he first got it back from the body shop - but I really like those wheels! Just wish they were available in 15"
