BJ8 wiring question

My engine is out and i am trying to figure out how to hot wire the coil inorder to get the engine running.
My question is which way round do the wires go as the pos earth has thrown me completely.

Hi Mike, For a positive ground car and a coil marked Sw & Cb the Cb connects to the points in the Dizzy while the Sw goes to the ingnition sw. If the coil is marked + & - then the + goes to the Dizzy. and the - goes to the ignition Sw.---Cheers- Keoke

All sorted, figured out that the ignition should be neg, then found a bad connection from the insulator to the points was the problem.
Next problem is i have 3 valves stuck open so off with it's head.
