BJ8 Windshield Frame

Need some help figuring out how to get the windshield frame off of a 1966 BJ 8. I have two service manuals but cannot understand what they are trying to tell me. I have removed all bolts that I can locate (inside the door) and the screws for the mirror and the frame does not even move a little. Do I need to remove the kick panels to locate some more bolts/screws ?
What is my problem. The manuals seem to treat the Mark 2 and Mark 3 the same and not sure that is correct.
If someone knows of a site that would have a diagram that would be really good.

There is a screw in the center that goes through a flang at the bottom of the frame into the shroud under the padded dash. Trickey little sob. I had to remove the defroster pipe to get at the nut on the underside. Maybe this is what is hanging you up. I did not have to remove the panals to get the side three posts off. Good luck and patients.

Yes remove the dash pad to reveal the center frame clamp. try to remove the bolt from the top if its been Mickey Moused it may have a bolt up underneath, Heaven Forbid, holding it in place. When you get it off do not replace the bolt nut fiasco at the center hold down. Get a 1/4" threaded well nut which is what was originally used and set it in the dash hole from the top and tighten the bolt. this expands the bubber bush and locks it in place.-FWIW---GNB
