Has anyone ever gotten the tumbler out of the rear trunk lock handle. My handle got busted durring a rear-ender and I wan't to swap the handle with a new one, thereby keeping the original key and latch activator that has the key number stamped on it. Thanks.....

Yes it can be removed from an original one. But unfortunately I do not remember just how i did it.

Seems like there was a pin of some type in the side of the handle in the area of the tumbler that allowed it to be removed
