bj8 timing for altitude 4000 ft

I installed the stranded copper core wires and sure enough, the Innova light no longer works correctly. The #1 cylinder is so close to the coil that I think it is picking up emissions from that wire.

Glenn, I am sorry to hear you had this problem I thought I was the only one after hearing others on the forum state they had no problems. I guess the INNOVA tech line was correct in stating the light would not be accurate or would not work correctly with the stranded wires. Others on the forum stated they had no problems so there must be a reason we both did not have good results!! I will contact some folks I know in the automotive aftermarket ignition business and see if I can formulate some kind of answer to the problem!!

Thanks, John
