I have come to the stage of dash board re furbishment. Unfortunately the speedo and revcounter are missing. What are my chances of obtaining replacements.

Early cars use gold(ish) colored gauge faces, and the later ones are black.

Which ones are you looking for (it might help to find them)?

I know there are people hoarding spares (guilty...), but you might as well resign yourself to getting whatever units you find properly calibrated prior to use.

Edit: my apology, I neglected to read the title, only the text...

You might check ebay and also call the usual instrument repair shops and see if they may have what you need. I believe BJ8 should have black face gauges. My car is a Phase I and they are black. Have a good day!

Thank You for your advice, to my knowledge bj8 are black with white numbers--speedo registers to 140 mph, the revcounter to 7000, orange line from 5000 to 5500 red line then to 7000. again thanks to those who replied you have been a great help
