BJ8 Panel LIghts Won't Work

My panel lights won't work. I checked the toggle switch. It is working, but has no voltage to it. I see a "light switch" on the schematic diagram but I can't find it. Where is it located on a BJ8? I also switched the car from positive to negative ground about 10 years ago

The light switch is the far right toggle switch and the panel light switch is next to it on the left. Your light switch must be on for the panel lights to work, at least that it works on my 64 BJ8. Have a good day!

Did you install negative-ground bulbs when you switched polarity?

Just kidding. The panel lights should work with the headlight/parking light switch in the intermediate (parking lights only) and full down (parking+headlights) position. The individual gauges (speedo, tach, etc.) all require a ground lead to the harness (black wire, two ganged for speedo and tach IIRC).
