BJ8 lower radiator hose!

Was replacing the hoses on my BJ8 and the lower one is a bear to get on and have the hose clamp fitted. So, I put the clamp on the end of the hose, and put black electric tape behind it to prevent it from not clamping down on the lower pipe. Worked great!

The lower clamp on the lower hose is not particularly hard to install--not like rear carb stud nuts hard--but it has to be done just so, from underneath. Not sure where you put the tape, but my experience is electrical tape unravels sooner or later.

When installing or removing the lower hose from the radiator, I remove the two lower bolts on each side that attach the radiator, loosen the two upper ones, and swing the bottom of the radiator forward.
