BJ8 Headlight Rims

I took my car to a local garage for an oil change, and he put his very best butcher on it. On return, this idiot had replaced the headlight bulbs (not requested or needed), and beat the rims back in place with a hammer. Apparently there is a trick to installation that involves turning the rim to lock in the tab? Does anyone have an original pair, which I would prefer? And/or can anyone offer advice as to the very best new replacement ones that match the originals?

Also, has anyone tried a steering wheel repair using J-B Weld with lamp black added for color? Many thanks to all for this wonderful site. Dan
