BJ8 Grill Slats

I can not believe this is what Moss sent me. Each slat I bought is crumpled in the side of the bend on both sides.

Should I look into Healey Surgeon's or British Car Specialist for better slats?

Thanks

I really do not know David, I have the original grills in both my cars and have not had any experience in this area. Whats wrong with the slats in the grill now?. Perhaps if they are just nicked up a bit they can be straighted out, filed and refinished.--Fwiw---Keoke

Hi David,

Those Moss slats look horrible! Yes, I would call some other suppliers and see if they have properly manufactured ones. Repairing the existing slats is difficult and expensive since they are thin stamped aluminum with an anodized finish. I've seen people buff them out shiny but then they look like chrome and not like the originals.

Cheers,
John
