BJ8 Front Seats Foam on Back Pan Correct Fitting

Hi Everyone,
Am in the process of recovering my front seats with a kit from Austin Healey Spares. Having trouble with the front seat back pan fitting the molded foam. Does the molded foam fit flush with the outer edge or does it overhang a bit. Do you need to cut the foam to fit or force it to fit when gluing it down? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Just installed the same kit as you from AH Spares. The foam seat back sits proud of the metal seat pan. On the back you need to add additional foam. The AH spares leather or vinyl covers fit big. You may need to add foam for a tight fit..

Regards,

Andrew
