The thin off white vinyl with a snakeskin type finish is called vynide (not sure on the spelling) you can get it from Ahead4healeys

On mine I drilled and plugged all holes with hardwood dowels, sanded smooth, coated them with fiberglass resin, then wrapped it in the off-white vinyl as original.
