Hello folks. Are the two domed nuts on each rear interior panel a special shape and size? Does anyone know where to get them? Neither Healey Surgeons nor Moss seems to list them.

Thanks.

Bill

These chromed 5/16" NF acorn nuts are the same as fitted to the seat back pivots, and are the same as listed on Moss' illustration for the BT7. Moss number is 402-550 and they call it a "dome nut". I'm not saying theirs is or is not accurate, but that's their reference number anyway.

Thanks, Rich. Was there a special washer underneath them?
Looking at the original service parts list, on page BA 7 part no. 23-24 shows a dome nut part no. 14B 2685, and plain washer part no. PWZ 105, four of each.

Screw the chrome on those nuts. They should be available in stainless. Any of those interior items that are for decor and visable, I am using SS, especially any of the washers. I have made the acorn nuts before, even flanged and out of stainless, when the correct thread size was not available. When polished they sure do shine.
