Can an air bubble in the clutch slave cause the clutch to slip? After replacing the clutch and bleeding the slave( I forgot to push the clutch rod in to remove that last bubble,ala the Moss video ) the trans. shifts fine but the clutch slips during heavy acceleration. I'm hoping it's not a shiney flywheel.

Nope. If the slave cylinder allows the clutch arm to return fully when the pedal is up then something is amiss inside. Check that somebody hasn't lengthened the slave cylinder pushrod first as that could prevent the clutch fully engaging. Andy.
 
I had slippage on my BJ8 clutch due to an issue with a replacement master cylinder where the return valve wasn't opening so pressure was partially maintained on the clutch, causing it to slip.
