I am installing a Moss carpet set in a BJ8.. everything is going ok.. except... the piece that goes over the rear wheel arch ..I can't figure out how it fits... does it go under the pedestal where the top frame bolts on ??... hard to get it under the rain gutter also ( carpet may be too thick) ... anyone have a picture ??...

You need to remove the rear cockpit chrome trim and the rain gutter . The carpet goes under the gutter and under the top frame pedestal .

Generally when I install carpet, knowing that it will most likely get wet at some point, I avoid making it difficult to remove for drying. If the sections are mostly hidden anyway, they are good for sound deadening. I use Velcro instead of glue when possible. Just a thought.
