BJ8 Bumpers - Which is which?

Hi Folks,

Trying to gather up my pile of parts for rechroming. I have two bumpers, but I have no idea if they are both front or both rear or one of each. I believe they are original.

How do I tell what I have? Are the mounting holes spaced differently or is there some other measureable feature that I can use to tell the two apart?

Thanks!

Pretty easy to spot difference, the rear bumper will have two small braces inside and in the middle for tag light mount. Front won't have any thing but maybe two holes for tag.

So this is what I have. Mangled as they are, is this a front and a rear?

Based solely on the mounting brackets, the bottom one came off the front.

Someone mixed up ;-)
Looks like both have the type of bracket that belongs to the front

My original front bumper has four braces with nuts inside
The back one has no such braces but has two small ones for the numberplatelight in the middle
Both bumpers have small round shapes in the middle taken out to point down

Can take a picture ..

I have to replace the mounting bars anyway, so I'm not concerned about that. Both bumpers have the little notches in the middle. Were there significant differences in curvature between the front and rear bumpers on the BJ8's? The reason I ask is that I want to weld up the mounting holes for the overriders, before I rechrome, so I don't want to buy brand new bumpers only to weld on them and have them rechromed.

So is the consensus that I do have a front and a rear bumper here?

In these pictures the grey one is the Front, the shiny one is the Rear
