I've changed a lot of water pumps, but this one just won't come off! I have used a 3 foot pry bar, hammer and tapping, but it has not moved an iota. All 4 bolts off.

Any suggestions? I am going back to the pick.

Spray fine oil or rust remover WD_40 etc around top edge of pump may soften gasket/sealer..

Are you replacing it? If so, then heat, freeze spray, whack, repeat until its free. Must be rusted in.

Yeah, working on the soak and whack job a bit each day. It will get removed.
