BJ7 toolkit- what does one look like?

Fairview said:
Is it just me, or is it rare to see a 3000 toolkit? Does anybody have a photo of an original BJ7 toolkit? I'd like to see what all it is that I'm missing.

Thanks, Jeff

Just getting around to reading the Nov-Dec issue of Austin-Healey Magazine, the magazine of the Austin-Healey Club USA. Featured is a multi-page article by Roger Moment--an acknowledged Healey expert--on the various toolkits supplied with Healeys from the first 100s on. There are numerous photos, both contemporary and recent, along with detailed descriptions of all the items. Not surprisingly, the early kits were fairly complete--even including a valve-lapping tool--but got sparser as the models progressed and the bean counters held sway.

Roger is writing--maybe it's completed--a full series on restoring Healeys; this, alone is worth the price of admission. I think back issues might be available: AHCUSA Home Page
