I'm working on installing my "factory" style Nical Engineering hardtop. I'm using Nical Engineering's assembly instructions which came with the hardtop... these are a bit brief and no pictures. Fortunately, I got a set of the pictures from a friendly BCF member which is a GREAT HELP! (his name escapes me right now, but I'm extremely grateful for the pics!!) That said, I'm still struggling through it. So one minor issue is which direction does the "front location plate" go on the front center of the top? I think it will fit in either direction but I'm sure there is a best case intended direction. A picture of it would help.

If any one has gone through this installation, I'd gladly accept advice. (Oh, and I now have a "N.B. slow helix drill bit" as called out in the instructions... in the U.S. it's call a "slow spiral.")

Cheers,
Steve

Okay, I think I may have figured out the "front location plate" orientation.... but the two "front fixing clamping screws" appear that they could go in a couple of ways and I'm wondering what is the prefered orientation? We're havin fun now!

Cheers,
Steve
