Can someone measure the inside to inside measurement between the rear vertical cockpit panel and the rear vertical trunk panel.

Trunk____|<------------ ? -------->|_____Cockpit

Thanks in advance.

Mine's apart right now, so it should be easy to measure accurately. Please clarify exactly what you are looking for. I would interpret the rear vertical cockpit panel to be behind the rear seat, and the rear vertical trunk panel as what? The rear shroud, which is a body panel, makes up the rear of the trunk, which attaches to a frame that also supports the strike for the trunk latch. The panel behind the seat slopes, so the exact point of measurement would be critical.

Let me know and I will get you the info!

I am looking for the measurement between the cockpit and the trunk where they weld to the frame. If you remove a rear wheel, measure between the both vertical sheet metal pieces.

Now I understand! 16 1/2", measured underneath the rear axel and on top of the frame member, on the inboard side of the weld-bead. Hope this helps.
