Thin, good. Are you going to use the sound deadening material Heritage sent to You?Sorry for the late post, about 1/8” or less.
I got the same jute material. I did have to fit it so the snaps would work properly. Do you need photos of that work?Yes, I already used it in the toe box area. The only other pieces I got goes under the front floor carpet which I still have to install. Did you get something different?
Here's a layout of where your carpet snaps are located on the floor. If you already have the snap holes you're in good shape. The trans tunnel will also have Snaps, hopefully still in place. I added extra Snaps to make my carpet lay down better and used the original brass rings with the securing ring that has the three ears on it to secure the two Snap pieces together. If you would, that would be great. Thank you
I just noticed that photos 8 & 9 are of my car.I am installing my carpet set in my BJ7 I got from Heritage. I bought the Moss video that says for BJ7 and BJ8. Unfortunately most of it I think is for BJ8. I have 2 question so far. 1 is how does the carpet lay behind the seat in the corner where the heel board and and shut pillar meet. Where that little “ramp” section is. It almost seems if a relief cut needs to be made so carpet will lay flat on the floor but then floor will show???? Also what gets put in 1st for best fit, the floor pieces or the transmission tunnel piece. Thx any and all help, especially pictures are much appreciated.
