Hello,

I am including 2 pictures. The first door has the window winder and
stop bracket. The second picture is my door, I have stop brackets in my spare parts box but no holes in my doors to install. Is there another way to install stop bracket, or did some cars not have the stop.

Thanks
Phil

My "Body Mechanical Parts List" shows the stop on both BJ7 & BJ8 with a split for regulators at a certain chassis #. I'd have to say it's missing. Been to many years since I've had my '63 BJ7 door panel off. cheers

If u read my post, I have the stop brackets, I no they are missing, the mystery is there are no holes drilled in the door panel.

No they are original doors from two different sources. I will end up drilling and slotting the holes, just another Healey mystery

I recognize my door. Not as nicely finished as yours.
I'd put the window in the up position and mark where the holes for the stop bracket should be.
Yes, interesting the door panel does not have the holes.
We all end up scratching our heads at some time during our restoration. Thankfully there's the BCF.
Good luck,
Roger
