Hi Robert, I think you may be talking about the Piping that fits behind the aluminum trim panel at the rear edge of the door.-Fwiw-Keoke?
 
This is kind of what it looks like. In illustrations in catalog (moss, victoria british) there is an arrow pointing toward the top lock side of door.

Thanks for the link. Those are the seals and now I know where to put them. Although mine seem to have the rubber piece similar to the hood bumpers. I would think that it would be easier to buy a set from victoria british as the ones I purchased were $24 for the set.

Perhaps someone can suggesst where to get the correct rubber piece?

To get a good fit, the after market parts may have to be tweaked. I ordered a set from Moss and found the aluminum bracket to be thicker than stock. Still fit, just pointing that out. The rubber, which is identical to the rubber bumpers used for the hood, was not cut like the original.

An easy fix. If the ones you get do fit your car, cut wrong, not big enough, ect. Buy 4 rubber bumpers. Original rubber used a split rivet to hold it in place. This split rivet may or may not be reused. If not, simply use a rivet gun to attach a solid rivet.

1. Screw the aluminum brace in place. There should be two holes in the side of the chrome finishing surround.

2. Place the rubber on the flat part of the aluminum place and mark then cut to size.

3. Why buy four rubber bumpers? Measure twice and cut once, never works the first time on anything associated with a Healey. Need two rubber bumpers, buy four. Trust me.

Bought a pair from my local supplier here over the pond, we both agreed that they did not look upto much, that was a year ago, still have not fitted them.
Looking at the photos from AUSMHLY, I think that my inner panels are a bit home made and may not be to the right pattern hence they do not 'finish it off ' as they should.

I have several spare hood bumpers, and like the idea of forming my own based on the several photos provided.

However, I am missing the bracket onto which the rubber attaches.

Never examining one up close... Is this bracket a simple aluminum angel bracket that I can make by drilling some aluminum stock, or is it a more custom fabrication that I can't see from the photos here?

$24 each from Moss seems a bit steep, so I would like to save a few dollars make a bracket and use my spare bumpers if the bracket is simple to make?

Oh I guess it could be made Andrew, if you had a clear picture of its shape and size. However, it is not just a simple piece of angled aluminum.---Fwiw--Keoke
 
Here's a drawing of what I "think" the bracket looks like based on the pictures. If anyone who has one could comment of the overall shape and provide dimensions it would be appreciated.

The mounting arm is 2" long X 1/2" wide the material thickness is ~ 1/8". The support portion [ Angled Piece] of the mounting arm is 7/8" long. Overall shape is excellent---Keoke
