Watched the TR2 roll of into the sunset on it's way to Alabama. Kinda tough to see 8 years of hopes and dreams leave. But it's time, and its stayin in the BCF family.
Enjoy Marv. I hope you make more progress than I did.
And..... I will tease you all with hints of a potential new story, totally unexpected by me,that has come about after the sale of the TR2 was completed, that may involve the gift of an LBC, and an epic road trip .... Stay tuned for details.

It's in good hands, Ben.

Movin' on is a good thing.

I know. I'm glad it's going to Marv, and not over to England.
BTW, this "Epic road trip" may involve getting to stop by your area for a visit.

Cool! I'll expect a phone call!

Definitely tough to do, Ben. Faced something along those lines myself last year/winter -- hard to walk away from all those dreams. But it does feel better on the other side.

Can't wait to see what the "epic road trip" is all about.

aint nuthin sayin you can't have another one day Ben.

True dat :yesnod:

Just today I spoke with the latest owner of my first bugeye. I sold it off and looked pretty much like this :cryin: as it went down the driveway. The guy who bought it was full of dreams etc. He bailed (I had a feeling) and sold it to another dude about 5 miles from here. The new guy SEEMS to be head-over-heels in love with the car. Yet another individual who came to look at my old car, decided to buy a basket case bugeye. He's also within 5 miles of me. For once in my life I'm setting a trend. All by letting go... I'm hoping to get together with these two guys and their cars this weekend.

Ben,

I understand,as the time I admitted defeat,& sold
our '64 Lotus Elan.I finally admitted defeat,& sold it
at a loss - something that I swore to my Wife would never
happen.
