I recently celebrated my 42nd and for that, my lady scored something I think is pretty cool. She overheard me talking to a friend about getting rid of the new plates and finding the correct year of manufacture plates. And that is what she found! Sneaky little lady. Anyhow I took the car to a show today and just put the plates on a couple nights ago, and had a good shot of the rear end so I thought I'd take a pic. IMO, it looks way better than new plates. Something about a classic with the proper plates. In California, 1956 was the last stamping of plates until 1963. So correct for the car is a 56 plate with the 1960 YOM sticker.
