Bina's first day home!

Your going to have to update the sig....looks like Bina still has a two tone effect.

3-tone, you can't see the red on her.

Oddest thing, she was originally black under all that paint!

Aw, I'da thought "Boutabox" would be her all growed-up name....

Or at least "Beenabox"

Nah, I like "Binabox" - suits her!

Congratulations Janel, it looks amazing. I think the whitewalls would have been a bit much, considering the color of the car. The overall color combo is very nice!

Looks great!

There could stand to be, I don't know...something....brighter, lighter or something, I guess, in the wheel wells.
...but I can't quite out my finger on it.

You know, James, you might be correct - something to set those chrome wire wheels off...but I can't for the life of me put my finger on it either.....

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I have whitewalls on the top of my 'replace this and that' list. I'll buy the bloody things myself... I'll even buy another set of wheels and switch them back and forth myself. I'm seriously considering doing that with a boot lid and luggage rack as well.

Congratulations Jaybird, she's a true beauty! I'm so jealous because I can't keep my restoration on track, but I'm proud for you - go enjoy her for all of us still in the garage! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Aloha Jaybird,

Great looking car and you did it really quickly. Must be that multi-tasking thing that women do better than men. Tony told me this weekend that BinaBox was literally a full scale model kit, boxes of pieces that needed to be assembled. Congratulations.

Safety Fast,
Dave

That's why she's named B in a box!

Of course, she's only 99% finished. A bit of wiring, the sending unit is leaking gas a fair bit, few chrome bits, and the gas gauge, tach and speedo don't work. Minor things, although I would like either a tach or speedometer before we go to Gatlinburg. And a top.

My 'replace this and that' list is growing longer and longer.

... and it never ends! Enjoy her, a beauty. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

NO LUGGAGE RACK!!

NO LUGGAGE RACK!!

NO LUGGAGE RACK!!

Tsk tsk tsk. You boys make me laugh. You should know me well enough to know I don't listen to anyone...

Luggage rack and whitewalls.

I take one exception to that, she listened to Chuck long ago. Good move Janel.
