I splurged and ordered a Heritage Certificate for her.

Interesting stuff on there...

Original color was Black, with Black trim, Grey top

Built Auguest 10-11, 1966, dispatched August 17, 1966

WITH wire wheels, heater, black tonneau, ashtray, packaway hood AND...

AND...

A N D ...

WHITEWALL TYRES!

Binabox originally came from the factory with WHITEWALLS

Black car, grey top... interesting. Was it shipped to Royston in NJ? Or did that info not show up?

Let me check if it says...

LHD, North American Export destination just says USA.

Briefly I toyed with black and red, very early on in the restore. Would have been cool to have done black and then find out that was her original color.

The whitewall thing blows me away. (methinks I'll stick this under someone's nose later...)

mehheh. Kinda ironic.

Yea, considering I 'won' that battle, then he comes home with blackwalls earlier this week. Makes me sick. I'm beyond words to describe how disappointed I am.

Seems I remember someplace that all US cars came with white walls???

I'm not sure about that. But knowing she originally had whitewalls would have been great information a couple months ago.

Sorry Janel,

but I was also looking forward to the whitewalls, but it's Chuck's car /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Time to think about Emma I supose, then you can make all the decisions.

Yup. At this moment in time, I could care less too. I was almost 'over' the whitewalls until this bloody certificate came.

How much do these run now and did you fill it out online with a CC#?

Ouch. I got one for my midget a few years back and it was #38. Maybe because it is a smaller car. Yeah that's got to be it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Nah, when I first toyed with getting one for Emma, they were a lot cheaper too.
