Bill Cosby and MG

We had the pleasure of seeing Bill Cosby perform last night -- non-stop laughs for more than two hours.

So Cosby tells a story about visiting his then fiancee in the early 60s when he lived in New York and she lived in Maryland. Cosby would drive down in his 1952 MG. At the mention of MG, I start to clap, and realize that I'm the only person among the crowd of 7000 doing so. Cosby looks over at me and says "you don't want to applaud *that* car. At 50 miles per hour, that car would start to shake. I mean shake. It would hit turbulence!"

My LBC moment with the Cos. Awesome!

I always liked Bill until he was quoted telling the rioters in the Reginald Denny incident "Now is not the time." :nonono:

Gee Bill, when is the right time to hit people in the head with bricks ?!?!!?!?!

I can see "This is not the way", but "Now is not the time" ??!?!?!?!?!?! :confuse:

Makes me a bit nervous if ya know what I mean. :eeek:
