Bigger wheels

Swapping emails with a friend earlier made me realise that I haven't dug around for a while.

Has anyone found (or come out with) 17's that'll fit a TR6?

If so, I'll make someone a real sweet deal on the 16" Panasports that are on mine...

Here is a link to some custom wheels, you can get them from 12-20 inches in diameter and any width and offset/bolt pattern. I think it is also where the guy in the above post got his wheels. But at 232 pounds each and the current exchange rate they are not cheap. But they are cheaper than all the custom 3 pieces I looked at here in the US.

Alan, because you speak "English" do you think you could get a better price for those wheels. Man, the exchange rate is getting brutal. Sometimes I feel as though we are in a 3rd world country over here.

Sadly, no.
Perhaps I should have rephrased my original question - does anyone know anywhere ~here~ that sells 17's that fit a TR6, preferably that don't require a second mortgage...

No the firstborn would be ok.
I can stop worrying about college costs.

Hello Alana,

I don't have an answer, but a question, why do you want larger diameter wheels?

If, as I suspect, the answer is that you want to use lower profile tyres then I think that you may find that they are less effective than more conventional aspect tyres. Looks are not everything.

Right you are, Alec. Plus if you think the ride in your TR6 is a little stiff now, try low profile tires. A real spine tingler.

Err, because I want larger diameter wheels. I like the 16's, I think 17's will look better.

I don't know about 17's but I know where you can get some 30's.
