big healey salute to fatherhood

What a truly wonderful and moving sorry of a father and his impact on his children. You were a very lucky son.

I understand much better how a young man like you can be so dedicated to preserving his Dad's Austin Healey. You are a real tribute to your Dad. He must have been a wonderful father, and you are a good son! It is sad that your time together was cut short, but you packed so much into the time you had.

More than nice, wonderfull.
I hope one day my kids will write a story like this

What a fabulous story. I'm nearly 40 and I still feel like my Dad will live forever. I still have my first car (which Dad and I stripped back to a bare chassis and fully restored back in the late 80's), we both have a Cobra replica and I just bought a BT7 that was built within a month of the BT7 that Dad used to drive the family around in way back when I was in primary school.

He's my best mate now, and always will be.

Really enjoyed your account of your Dad and his Healey! Thanks or sharing it with us!
