I just got what I think is an OD transmission for a big Healey...shift lever is off to the side, not on top like an MG...how can I tell what it is before I put it on the market? Where can I find identifying numbers?

Hi Tony, Take a look at the top back side of the bell housing you will se an"AEC" number that defines it as a big Healey Side shift Tranny.---Fwiw---Keoke

I'll get a photo first of week...& thanks, Keoke< for the info.
