Calling all 6-cylinder racers, specifically with SU's. Needed SU HD8 needle information, suggestions, input, ideas for my next upgrade. Three SU HD8 2"
SU's with all the performance upgrades from Des Hammill's "SU Bible" performed
David Anton at A.P.T. These will be mounted to a Ruddspeed performance manifold matched ported to a mildly "messaged" stock iron head. My motor is build for reliablity with J&E forged pistons and a reground BJ8 cam running 10:1
compression. Looking for a little more top end down the strait at PIR. Any help welcome.

Get on to D.A. and he might give you some starting parameters as far as needle size. Then get some dyno time with someone who is SU conversant.

Otherwise you will wear the motor out trying to find a combination.
