Police cruisers by the dozen, two houses roped off with yellow "do not cross" tape, street blocked off... Forensics Team vehicle, news crews, Sheriff's helo and two local news choppers overhead.

We watch. Woman with two young kids shot in the head. Perp and weapon still not found. Kids not present.

Hateful event, neighborhood in chaos. Strange vehicles rolling through, traffic with out of state plates, unfamiliar traffic.

30+ years here, it goes up and down. About every five years I gotta play "the crazy Viet Nam Vet"... This is an unprecedented event.

We now wait for facts.
 
So far, this is what has been known.
 
Yeah, I read it this afternoon on WFLA online but figured I’d wait for you to post the horrible news.
 
If they are calling it an "isolated incident", it sounds like the police have a pretty good idea what happened, but are withholding information so it doesn't jeopardize their investigation.
 
We wait and see. This subdivision has been up and down, that house went from family and fine, to cars with flat tires and no tags. More will come out as time goes on.
 
That is just horrible.
