Big, fat, wet snowflakes falling this morning! I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. (Icy rain last night)

I wonder how Judy's heated parking pad is working, right outside her garage.
 
We just turned them on. It really is more efficient to turn them on before the snow starts. It's not supposed to be much of an accumulation and I didn't think they needed to be on but husband thought it was a good idea. They do work well. At our last snow which was about 4 inches the garage pads were snow/ice free and no ice bridge in front of the doors. The Envoy which was much lower than the Acadia couldn't always be driven in and Doug had to chip some of the ice away. I always was concerned he wouldn't be home when this happen. And when he wasn't home I'd shovel just in that area. It was really a chore for me. Now it's no longer a problem. We also had snow breakers put on the roof and this did help depending on accumulation. So to answer your query - the system works great. Is this a 'quick reply'?
