Well, I know intellectually that a "tub is a tub," but this is MY "tub" and it has been a long time coming! My baby came home today and now the fun begins, as I get to put it all back together. Bought it in 1971. Drove it a few years -then marriage, babies and you know the story. However, I did keep it all these years, and now she is about to have a second life. Sorry for the bravado, but this 4 year job has suddenly become fun.

The attachment shows a before and after.

Looking Good !
It's a lot like a child isn't it. Spend all your money and time... hoping it will turn out good.

Hi Patton,
The red is 1997 Rosso Corsa Ferrari Red. I saw it on Paul Freestone's car when he was here from down under during the Aussie - American Healey Challenge, and fell in love with it. Not original, but in my humble opinion a great red.

That's a tough decision to make, but it does indeed look good!

At the time I embarked on restoring my car from the ground up, there were already six (6) Healey Ice Blue cars in Lafayette, Louisiana (and only a couple more, that I knew about, that were both white). Since my car wasn't going to be original anyway, I chose a color that had left an impression on me years earlier; Porsche Wine Red Metalic.
