Big car go BOOM!!!

So the BMW had been sitting for a while and when I sold my daily driver I decided to put it back on the road. Did the standard things (new tyres, wipers, battery, big serice etc), flew through its MOT no probs.
I knew time spent sitting makes certain bits and pieces brittle, so was expecting something to let go... after 2 days back on the road the rad hose split just as I was approaching a customers house!!! It really was quite spectacular to watch, although I didn't have a camera to hand. Fortunately no other damage was done. If you would like to know what it looked like, I found this little clip... it's a pretty good impression!
