Bianca Ryan

Is this the girl I saw singing on Oprah yesterday? If so she's gotta pretty powerful voice for an 11 year old!

Yep. Simon Cowel (who is almost impossible to please) said she has the best voice he's ever heard.

She is just awsum, so fresh and clear and easy to listen to.

And even seems like a nice little girl.

Basil,

I remember when you first mentioned this beautiful little talent. I got interested and watched her performances on the TV and the internet videos. I was mesmerized.

Thank you for mentioning that her CD came out. I ran out to Borders and got a copy of it, and am listening as I'm typing. The production of a recording studio really makes Bianca shine. I'm really enjoying this wonderful twelve year old. Yes, she turned twelve on September first...my anniversary (36 years), AND my daughter's birthday. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Truly unbelievable voice for a twelve year old. She's obviously worth tens of millions and is so innocent. I hope her parents steer her career clear of the sharks.

She reminds me of Judy Garland when she was 12. Speaking of TV, check her out on Ellen. She has the polish of someone three times her age:

Another Barbara Streisand

tony, yes streisand has an incredable voice, having knocked around the music industry for a while now (played charly o's off broadway wednesday night) this little girl has even greater power and range then barbra, shes able to reach down and grab the unlimited reserve and strenght of enrico caruso, and the versatility of pavarotti, she may even have more tools then they, never before have i seen such talent, i cant believe my eyes and ears when she sings, her stage presents is amazing for such a young kid,and i too would hate to see the "sharks" get near her, i hope we never hear the story of this beautiful child going bad. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif

Nor do we want to hear of her marrying a deadbeat, wanna-be rapper with no talent and two kids by another woman.

Well, I just helped her get there. Saw her CD at the mall today so I bought it. It's mostly great, but I think they scewed up on the song she did on America's Got Talent (And I'm Telling You). On the TV show she really belted it out and had so much feeling in the song that it just reached out and grabbed the audience. But on the CD, the same song is, in my humble opinion, "over-produced." They toned her way down and did not let her rip loose with the in-your-face passion she had when she did that song on AGT. Still an ok song, but had she done it that way on AGT she might not have won.

There are a coupld of songs written just for Bianca that are really good and fit her style well. My only other minor grip is that she does "You Light Up My Life." It's not that she doesn't do a great job, its juat that the 5,788,362 times I heard Debbie Boone do that song when it came out on the radio basically gave me enough of that particular song to last a life time.

I rate her first CD 8+ out of 10.

She was so excited on the show, she could hardly contain herself. What you didn't see was after she won and the show went off the air, she did another number, still crying from the shock of winning. But she sounded as powerful as ever. Amazing.

I can only think of a handful of singers who sounded anywhere near as good at such a young age. She's in the same league as Judy Garland, Charolette Church, and Celine Dion.

I'm sitting here listening to her CD again and the more I hear it the more I like it! I highly recommend it.
