Is there a better source for rubber parts , grommets etc. – the moss stuff is more like licorice! It is already deteriorating after 6 month on the car !!!

HiLL, Try Healey Surgeons in Maryland.-Fwiw--Keoke

Thanks, otherwise I may have to mix my own licorice.

For Both of these sources, I have set up the search I did for my 1962 MkII BT7 tricarb.

I have the same problem. The ones under the winshield washer nozzles and wiper arms have completely disintegrated. Guess they made them out of " enviromentally friendly " , ( cheap as they can find !), materials.
I will also try to get some replacements at one of the above suggested sources.

This is a problem with the BJ8's you are going to be replacing the small rubber bits the rest of your life.---Keoke- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
