Betcha never heard of this one...

Very cool, It's a shame that so much of its originality was destroyed by a film company.

Interesting car - prettier from the back! Interestingly I saw this posted recently on my microcar boards.

One of the comments pointed out that after the war there were many many small builders, some who only ever built a few cars, most of whom are completely unknown now. And most built with motorcycle components. Fascinating little cars

I've got books about that... While here in North America there were relatively few car companies, especially after WW2, in Europe there have always lots of tiny car manufacturers... As you say, the vast majority of them are unknown, although I have heard of Zundapp before... :friendly_wink:

 I've never even seen the movie, just a strange fascination with East European cars going back many years, lots of useless facts... :wink-new:

There is a guy in my Yahoo group making one out of his Zundapp. Both movies (this is a sequel) are well worth watching, for their attention to detail if nothing else. The plot for this depends on some very obscure British Car Knowledge. In the movie, when they are racing the billboards on the side of the track advertize Rostyle!
