Tony's best commercials thread gave me an idea....Anyone have any favorite music videos?

Being a bit of a Camaro fan I like "Dixie" by a guy named Chris Cummings(it's a country song)...I also saw a video with an MGA in it but have no idea who sang it.

WHoo...that gets into the question: which venue? Rock, DooWop, Country, Classic...man-oh-man!

Having not had MTV or VH1 until after they stopped playing music videos, I've seen precious few vids ever in my life. But if I had to pick one it'd be "Buddy Holly" by Weezer. Absolutely brilliant. Youtube came up blank on this one, though, for copyright reasons.

I did see a new video from Oasis, for the song "The Importance Of Being Idle". It's a weird one, shot in black and white, and features a very traditional English funeral theme. Usually Oasis' videos feature the band singing and that's about it. But this one was interesting, very surreal.

Being an old rocker I don't like Robbie Williams, but his Millenium video is to a James Bond theme and includes the original Bond car at different points throughout. There is also a twist at the end. Who can name what the twist is?

Here's the link:

If it doesn't show click on the Millenium box on the right.

Took me years to figure out what 'house of fun' was about.
Fave video remains Motorhead - Ace of spades from the Young Ones episode!

So there's no takers on naming the other British car at the end of the Millenium video?

Reliant?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

Reliant took over this company in the early 70's and produced the "sporty" vehicle shown for a couple of years before they concentrated on their own classic (Mr. Bean) 3-wheeler. The car in the video is a Bond Bug.

Yessss! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif That one is on the DVR and I just can't seem to delete it.

This is by no means my favorite song, but the video is hilarious...enjoy.

Recently saw the Robbie Williams one where he's inserted into a late sixties Grand Prix. Loses the championship cause he locks himself in a portaloo!
