I am in the process of installing the convertible top on my TR250. I have never done this before and am reading the online manuals and directions in the Williams book and taking it slow because I know it is basically a do it once, do it right type of operation.
I am at the point where I need to glue to the header rail, what is the best glue to use, please if you have experience be specific as possible, brand etc. preferably something I can get at the local hardware or auto parts place.
I think you want something that takes a good initial hold but allows for some adjustment if needed. It seems like this will be pretty critical, both the glue used and the fitting, to getting the install right, so any help/experience appreciated.
The top install is pretty much the last major step of the restoration and improvements I am doing to the car, if we could just get some son and warmth I could finish up.
Thanks, Greg
