Best Car show?

I have hit a few shows around the US for different car types (muscle, good guys, all italian).

Any thoughts on the better/best car shows in the north east? Other area shows? Triumph or British focused? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

There are some pretty good shows on Long Island & Conn. Coming up next weekend , June 12 is the British are coming show in the Bayard planting field arboretum. The link below lists many of the local shows. Usually a good turn out with great people. The other show I try to make every year is the Vanderbilt invitational at the Vanderbilt museum in CenterPort LI. Alot of really nice cars there & the location is breathtaking.

Another great show was British Car Day at Bowie, MD. Unfortunately I've heard it's no longer at Bowie, and since I'm not in PA anymore I don't know where it moved to.

I used to go every year to the Summer Nationals in Wochester Mass, what a show that was. My old roomate and best friend lived in Wochester then and we could walk to the show and get falling down drunk and not have to worry about having to drive home.

Anyway, the show was huge and mostly muscle cars and rods, but the last night of the weekend they would block off the main drag there in downtown Wochester and have an absolutely huge burnout contest that would go on all night. I've seen semi tractor rigs there doing 2 minute long burnouts with flames coming from the exhaust stacks, what a blast. Cars would be lined up all the way across town waiting to get in to do their burnouts. I don't know if that show is still going on or if it's been relocated, I haven't been up there in the summer in quite a few years now (my buddy usually comes here now since I have the kids and he's still single).
