Actually, those tail pipes were not put on for visuals. They quiet the Falcons and keep the fumes out of the cockpit.

And I thought aiming my rear view mirrors so they shined in the tailgater's eyes was a good idea...
 
Maybe its just me, but it seems to me that those huge SUVs seem to enjoy riding our LBC back bumpers. That little addition would certainly "counterintimidate" those monsters!
 
This could be a fun thread. How many of you have concocted a sinister device designed to twart the throngs of morons riding your bumper as if trying to read your speedometer?
Maybe you would like to share your ideas?
How about a hollow fiberglass shaft with a series of small holes near the tip spraying WD40 in a fine mist? Not as messy as 007, and fairly easy to wash off during the unscheduled pit stop.
 
My older Volvo had the dual rear fog lamps, I used to throw them on day or night & the guy up my butt would immediately slow down thinking I was constantly breaking.

Of course a rear ender in a Volvo wagon was much safer than an LBC!

I had a 1984 Jeep Cherokee, and the rubber tube that connected the line from the washer bottle where it emerged from the tailgate to the wiper itself was too short (nice AMC quality there). It used to pop off all the time -- I used it as a weapon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
Take that washer bottle tube and stick the end of it into the carb intake. A couple of quick bursts, and TA-DA! instant smoke screen.
