I know a surplus metals guy here, in Minneapolis, who has a box full of 1/2" NF castle nuts that work just fine on the front spindle and the front spring mount, at literally pennies each. You want me to send you some? PM me your address. If you need another size, he probably has those too. I'm sure it'll beat the Moss price, plus (shudder) Moss shipping.

Oh yeah... And I agree that the part of your suspension that's ripping off the frame MUST be fixed before you actually try to drive the car.
 
I just picked up a bunch of assorted nuts for the 3 at a local supplier . I may need some of those 1/2NFs at some point,thanks for the offer, I'll let you know.
