Doc;
I turned 59 this year as well (March)
As my Dad said "Age is just a chronological method of keeping track of how long before you get your pension, nothing more!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUNG MAN!!!!!!

Now celebrate all week long.

Dave
P.S Party til you

Happy (slightly late) birthday, doc! Hope many a CAB were raised in your honor. I'll lift a glass of Mr Beam's finest to you tonight.

When I turned 50 (13 years ago), I suddenly realized there was no reason to count my life from my birth date but instead from how much time I have left....& I'm planning on living until age 92!

Happy Birthday Doc. If you look over your shoulder you will see me right behind you. I don't feel old... BUT got a rude awakening when I was on the T in Boston last year. Some 20ish young lady offered to get up and give me her seat. I was thinking WTF... do I look that decrepit? Heck, I am still refereeing premier youth and men's soccer matches.
Age is a state of mind, and you are NOT a senior in my estimation!!!
Happy Birthday.....

Happy birthday Doc. I bet Jimmy Buffet was blaring out the windows of the hovel.

Too true, Greg... "Pirate Looks at Forty" was a featured tune.

And Bill: we will meet one day!!!

May th' (minor) gods have mercy on our souls.

:smirk:

"Off to see th' Lizard"

"There's no free ride in this carnival world..."

"Talk is cheap, th' tax man's knockin' at your door."

Got mine in '56.

I think the reason Doc moved to the Seminole state was so he could drive at an octogenarian age.
No way they take away the driving rights to all those blue hairs

Hmm! I got my license late -1963(I was 16 and I didn't "need" it till then me Dad said!!!) but I'd been driving (with himself beside me)since 1956!!

:grouphug: Okay everyone can feel sorry for me. Got my license in '59, 1959, that is. Didn't want to give you all a chance to chime in with 1859. Happy Birthday Doc! :driving: Now me and Agatha are going for coffee!
