Passed across th' threshold of countdown to celebrating my sixth decade on-planet yesterday. A drivers' license renewal now good 'til 2017!
...vicinity motorists should be very afraid. :smirk:

Congrats, Doc. Quite a milestone.

If you're like me, as long as I can drive an LBC, I'll be fine. After that, well . . . :nopity:

Oh - sorry I missed toastin' ya, bro!

But I'm raising my mug of dark roast as I type.

(And that ain't easy to do!)

So, you really are a baby, eh Doc? just hit 60, did ya? Or did you just hit 70?

I think Doc just hit 60 square in the a$$.

Doc, don't slow down now. It'll kill you if you do. HAPPY BIRFDA.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOC - I hit 60 a couple months ago - doesn't feel any different - knees still hurt after working on the cars, can't get around on the fastball as well anymore, etc. Otherwise, life seems pretty good even at 60!! Best wishes and a belated Happy Birthday...
:yesnod: :yesnod:

Happy b-day... you mean you couldn't renew by mail? What a pain!

Right behind you! Where did the time go?

Have a good one.

2017!! hopefully that certifies you for the conversion to land speeders...here's wishing you many more milestones!!!

Celebrated 59. Now markin' th' days to finishing #60. :smirk:

Thanks guys!

I still have ~one~ good knee and one good eye. That'd logic out to 120 before I gotta look for replacements, right?

And are all your VA benefits up to date?

No clue, Tony. Remember: I was USAF and not PCS'd "in-country"... Thailand was my SEA assignment. Heck, th' VFW didn't even recognize that as qualifying for membership until their revenue started declining. I've paid for my own care to this point. I've been told things have changed but haven't looked into it.

I need to stop thinking about this now. Th' chip is starting to get heavy enuff to notice again. :madder:

No, you need to go to the office of the nearest Florida VA representative....notice I said "FL" not the feds....the local representatives are there to help you & to get more revenue for your state....the feds are there to keep you from getting any revenue - they are not our friend; the FL rep is.

Here ya go: https://www.floridavets.org/index.asp

Sorry I missed the day yesterday Doc. but best Birthday wishes  to you as you approach that "psychological threshold"!! Remember...It's all in the mind, you know!! You are truly only as old as you feel!!

mehheh. Yeah, I'm CERTAIN 1969 was about two weeks ago, wasn't it? I still feel like I'm 19... unless you mean as old as i ~physically~ feel.

This "age" thing is no big whoop. 25 was th' trauma for me; "I can measure my age now in terms of 'century'!"

Happy birthday, good Doctor. I'll be 63 in a few days. And I feel it. Keep on keepin on.
