Bench Press

Hi folks,

I have in my possession a hydraulic pipe bender which works horizontally or vertically with the
ram part facing upwards like a bottle jack.

I had planned to use the bender as a bench press but it wont work with ram facing downwards.

Any ideas

Regards

Noel

That's how mine works.

Hello Noel,
it would seem that the oil reservoir is not feeding the pump section when inverted. That said why not use it horizontally, there is no reason for a press to have to work vertically. It may well be more fiddly if you are using spacers or the like but not impractical.
