Before I would pay $2900 for this bonnet

I would buy a fiberglass one. I don't see any ovious crunches on it but it needs some work, plus another $150 to box it and then shipping.

I have one ten times better than this one that I have for more than 40 years. It's been stripped to bare metal inside and out and shot in red primer. Always kept in dry storage too.

Yes, they have had other bonnets and they are always in the $2500 - $3000 range.
Ignore them, maybe they'll go away.

That one is a keeper Gerard, for sure. Nothing like a spare bonnet in case the worst should happen.

Somebody needs to snag that one. Looks like only surface rust and as good as the 2900 buck one except for the dent.
