JP - If you're still having the Hitman problem, delete the program completely. Then go to the link I already posted. Download HitmanPro again. Then just run it. It obviously ran fine the first time you used it, as it listed all the alleged problems.

With reference to the "Block UTube Ads" malware from post #12...it does seem to be a serious piece of work.

I found this forum exchange through Google that is working on cleaning up one man's infected system. While the thread contains several complete Hijack This! logs, reading around them will give some sense of what needs to be done to rid the system of this infestation.

JP did the only smart thing he could think of. Shut off the computer and went to Florida to warm up. So, I am on my ipad now and sitting watching the sun shine through Palm Trees. (Doc, was going to touch base but this is a somewhat incognito trip). So, will be putting this thread on hold for a few days, but, have no fear, we will be back at it by the weekend. Thanks all!

Billy, this is pretty much the answer. + we lived here for five years and still have friends down here + air routes into Orlando are the cheapest in the world + we are big Disney fans + we bought annual passes this year knowing we would make more shorter trips + it is spring break for daughter and her best friend and we love them + it beat H3ll out of Toronto at this time of year - oh I said that.
