I brought my camera and forgot all about taking pictures that day. Took a nice run yesterday, went to Brevard and then down 276 (passing a few cars Hap style ;)) and then picked up 11 and followed till 276 split off and went through the booming metropolis of Marietta,SC and on into Traveler's rest and drove around Furman for a bit and then took 25 back up the hill and then home on I-26. Never ran hot but it was getting close at the end of the 120 mile drive but the engine never missed a beat so that miss last time must have been from the water I poured in at the overlook. I did pass another LBC right around Conasty Falls, it was a dark redish or brown B, but it had just started raining and it was hard to see real good. Luckily the rain only lasted a few miles and no need to put the top up, the tonneau did just fine.

Those sure are pretty pics and I know they
don't do it justice. I was sick I missed this
drive. Those are some kind of fine LBC roads.

Pick the next time then Gundy and I will try to make it. I heard a bit more about Alan and his trials with things but he need to get that Cat out and have some fun with it. Now would be a good time to head to Mt Mitchell or grandfather mountain on the parkway before it gets colder up there. When it gets colder I would love to do some rides down your way.

Howdy Folks,

I sure am not a happy camper about missing the drive. But, After "Gundy" and I did a test drive the other week; My B/E would`nt have seen it anyway!

Hey Hap; Nice talking with you today & I feel pretty confident that "Fred" will be able to help me out. "Thanx" for the info.

When is the next "Beer Run"? Man am I looking forward to the "Euro" coming up soon.

Regards, Russ
